Deep ruby in color with a touch of garnet on the rim. This wine shows its fruit forwardness with rainier cherry, dried red currants, and a touch of açai berry. It elegantly opens up with a secondary dried nature to the fruits. Provencal herbs, sweet tobacco, and a hint of vanilla linger with a light yet soft mouthfeel.
The flavors are Fruit forward, clear, and bright. While this is a full-bodied, complex, substantial wine, the backbone of acidity and minerality keep it lithe and pretty.
Sommelier’s Notes: Enjoy with grilled pork or lamb chops with olive oil and Herbs de Provence.
