On the nose, this wine has fresh light red fruits, rhubarb, red cherry and pomegranate with a touch of red apple skin on the palate. Some white cherry blossom and red rooibos tea aromatics and flavors mingle as well. A touch of toasty oak and earth in the finish shows coconut husk and a cardamom-like spice that lengthens the finish. A complete wine with a silky texture.
With this vintage, we took this varietal up a notch. This is an extremely complex wine on the lighter-bodied side. Black and red cherries are married with a ripe strawberry and a touch of blood orange zest on the nose, which becomes more prevalent on the palate. This varietal is showing some cinnamon and birch-like spice as well as a pleasant vanilla undertone. The wine has a delectable creamy texture and weight despite being light in color.
A bright and refreshing lighter bodied red wine. This summertime red favorite shows perfectly ripened red raspberry, black plum, and mulberry fruit. Fresh pink and red carnations on the nose are followed by a tarragon-like herbal note. This is a fun one to start with from our red selections as it will open the palate to bolder, more complex flavors.
Deeper and more brooding in expression than prior vintages. A beautiful, ruby color, with a complex nose of tart and baked red-fruits, red currant, raspberry, and black plum. Classic green herbaceous notes of bay leaf, oregano, and fennel seed meld with earthy wet clay. There is a touch of balsamic and florals that are reminiscent of red carnations and hibiscus petals. Slightly grippy tannins on the palate make this quite ageable or a perfect pairing with cheese and cured meat selections!
This wine opens with tart blueberries, cranberry, the skin of black plums, and poached strawberry fruits. This gives way to violets and sage towards the finish, immediately followed by a slight hint of cinnamon and toasted oak. Enjoy this wine year-round.
Underripe red and black currant, tart, wild blueberry with wild lavender notes. Secondary notes of smoked game and crushed white pepper, briny olive, and wet clay. Dried thyme and cedary oak finish make this Syrah a knockout.
