With this vintage, we took this varietal up a notch. This is an extremely complex wine on the lighter-bodied side. Black and red cherries are married with a ripe strawberry and a touch of blood orange zest on the nose, which becomes more prevalent on the palate. This varietal is showing some cinnamon and birch-like spice as well as a pleasant vanilla undertone. The wine has a delectable creamy texture and weight despite being light in color.
