2022 Viognier

This wine is showing in classic and polished form. On the nose, it is an impressive bouquet of floral intensity. There are nuances of yellow roses and carnations, high-intensity white lilies, and honeysuckle. The fruit is very fresh and accented with just-ripe apricot, juicy peach, and a hint of tropical lychee. There is a touch of minerality reminiscent of wet slate. The palate is silky and dry but with persistent, intense fruit plus a floral and beeswax character. This is fresh, delicate, and beautiful.
